Welcome to Kaizen Massage with Abbie

I have been working as a massage therapist since 2017.
Already qualified in beauty treatments I decided to do a Swedish massage course and offered massage on a yoga retreat. This is where I started to see the amazing benefits massage was having on clients. Keen to learn more and further my skills I completed a diploma in Massage & bodywork (2020), with the renowned School of Bodywork in Exeter. This course taught me how to come away from the Swedish routine and allowed me to really flow and listen to the body, working with the individual needs, creating my own rhythm and dance with massage.
This changed my way of working, giving amazing results and getting amazing feedback from clients. However, I realised there are a lot of people in pain, and I wanted to know how to really help these people out of pain, so I went on to do more training, this time with Jing massage in Brighton, who are internationally recognised as a centre of excellence.
I completed a short, advanced techniques course with them and then went on to complete year 1 of their massage degree, coming away with a qualification in Advanced Clinical & Sports massage (2022) for the treatment of acute & chronic pain & injury.

I recently took a break and spent some time in Thailand, while I was there I trained in Thai deep tissue and foot massage / reflexology (2023)

I combine my knowledge and skills to give you the best possible treatment, depending on how you like your style of massage, your bodies needs and how you're feeling on the day.

Working holistically and effectively, combining Swedish massage with deep tissue and incorporating different techniques where needed from my clinical & sports training. The aim is for you to feel relaxed but also like you've had a good massage and can notice a difference in how you felt when you got on the massage table, to how you feel when you get off the massage table

I also offer relaxing, organic hot towel facials and is very soon to be adding the wonderful Natural facelift massage.
